Instructions
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat until bubbly.
- Add the chopped apples and cinnamon, sautéing for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- Place one tortilla in the skillet, sprinkle half the cheese on one side, top with apples, and add the remaining cheese.
- Fold the tortilla over and cook until golden brown on one side, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and repeat.
- Remove from skillet, slice into wedges, and drizzle with maple syrup if desired.
Notes
Use ripe but firm apples to avoid mushiness; do not rush the browning process.
