Ingredients

- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 apple, cored and chopped
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
- Handful of chopped nuts (almonds or walnuts, for topping)
- Extra apple slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, milk, and Greek yogurt. Stir until well-coated.
- Add the chopped apple, honey or maple syrup, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, pinch of salt, and chia seeds if using. Mix until well incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into jars or containers, pressing down to remove air pockets. Seal them.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, stir the oats. Add a splash of milk for creaminess if desired. Top with chopped nuts and extra apple slices.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute regular milk with almond, oat, or coconut milk and Greek yogurt with vegan yogurt.
