Description

A delightful blend of creamy ice cream and the classic flavors of apple pie, capturing nostalgia in each scoop.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 large slices leftover apple pie (about 13 oz. total)
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp. apple pie spice mix
  • 2 Tbsp. caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Chill a large bowl and a 9″ x 5″ loaf pan for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Separate the apple filling and pie crust from the leftover apple pie, coarsely chopping each and keeping them in distinct bowls.
  3. In the chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and apple pie spice until soft peaks form, about 6-7 minutes.
  4. Gently fold in one-third of the chopped apple pie filling. Beat for another minute if the mixture seems to deflate.
  5. Spread half of the whipped mixture in the chilled loaf pan, drizzling with 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce and swirling it in.
  6. Layer the remaining apple pie filling on top, followed by the remaining cream mixture and another drizzle of caramel. Sprinkle chopped pie crust on top.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours or up to 2 weeks.

Notes

For healthier options, consider low-sugar variants or dairy-free substitutions using coconut or cashew cream.
