A delightful twist on traditional monkey bread, this Banana Monkey Bread is filled with the sweet flavors of ripe bananas and cinnamon sugar, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

- 6 ripe bananas
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- ½ cup sugar
Instructions
- Warm the milk to 110°F.
- Mash 3 bananas and combine with milk and yeast; let sit for 10 minutes.
- Dice remaining bananas.
- Roll the dough into small balls.
- Dip each ball in melted butter and cinnamon sugar.
- Layer the dough balls and diced bananas in a Bundt pan.
- Combine butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for caramel coating.
- Layer coated dough balls and pour the caramel over them.
- Let the dough rise until doubled in size.
- Bake as instructed until golden and soft.
- Store leftovers at room temperature for up to 2 days.
