  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Melt dark chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals or use the double boiler method until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until thickened.
  4. Slowly pour the melted chocolate mixture into the sugar-egg mixture while whisking constantly.
  5. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, incorporating into the wet mixture with a spatula.
  6. Fold in the dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop rounded portions of the dough onto the lined baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
