- 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light or dark brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups old-fashioned whole rolled oats
- 1 and 1/2 cups mini M&Ms
- 1 and 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a medium bowl; set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter until smooth, then add the granulated sugar and brown sugar, creaming until fluffy.
- Add the eggs, peanut butter, and vanilla; beat until combined.
- Mix in the dry ingredients and oats until just combined.
- Cover and chill the dough in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop large mounds of dough (about 65g each) onto the baking sheets.
- Bake for 14-16 minutes or until the edges are set and lightly browned.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
Cookies stay fresh covered at room temperature for up to 1 week. For longer storage, consider freezing portions of dough.
