- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie or boiled)
- 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1/4 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 12 slider buns
- 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Coleslaw or lettuce, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken with the buffalo wing sauce until evenly coated.
- In a small bowl, combine the ranch or blue cheese dressing with the mayonnaise to make the spread.
- Using a serrated knife, slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping them attached.
- Place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Spread the mayonnaise mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the buns.
- Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the mayo layer.
- Top the chicken mixture with the cheddar cheese slices, overlapping them.
- Place the top halves of the slider buns over the cheese to form sandwiches.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, parsley, and garlic powder.
- Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the slider buns.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and cool slightly before serving.
- Serve with coleslaw or lettuce if desired.
Notes
These sliders can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake.
