- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 large red onion, diced
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 25-ounce package frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 tablespoon garlic seasoning blend
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup beef or chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup reserved pasta water
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add the sausage, breaking it into smaller pieces, and cook until browned. Add the diced bell peppers and onion, cooking until tender (8-10 minutes).
- Stir in garlic, cooking until fragrant, then add the garlic seasoning blend, Cajun seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes.
- Pour in the broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Add Parmesan cheese and let simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Cook ravioli in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
- Combine the ravioli with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency, and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning and serve hot, optionally garnished with extra Parmesan and herbs.
