Description

A comforting dish of Cheese Ravioli Sausage Bake with layers of cheese, savory sausage, and marinara sauce, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 20 ounces turkey Italian sausage (sweet or hot)
  • 24 ounces frozen cheese ravioli
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese (cut into 1/2 inch cubes)
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and prepare your favorite casserole dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey sausage over medium heat for about 7-8 minutes. Crumble it as it cooks, letting it develop a delicious crust. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
  3. Spread 1/4 cup of marinara sauce at the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
  4. Layer 1/3 of the frozen cheese ravioli, followed by 1/3 of the cooked sausage and 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Pour over 1/3 of the remaining marinara sauce, and repeat these layers two more times.
  6. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the top is browned and bubbly.

Notes

Avoid overbaking and ensure even layers for consistency. Great for meal prep and can be frozen for later.
