Instructions
- Melt the butter and chocolate together in a heatproof bowl or microwave, then let cool.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk in granulated and brown sugar into the chocolate mixture until combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, whisking until smooth, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Whisk in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until no dry ingredients remain.
- Fold in chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 32-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.

- For frosting, beat all frosting ingredients together until smooth, then spread over cooled brownies and cut into squares.
