Description

A delightful dessert featuring a creamy lime filling on a crunchy Oreo crust, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Heart sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush the Oreo cookies and mix with melted butter. Press into a pie dish to form the crust and bake for 10 minutes. Let it cool completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk and lime juice, mixing well. Optionally, add green food coloring.
  3. Pour the creamy filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until set.
  5. Before serving, top with whipped cream and heart sprinkles.

Notes

For a twist, add mint extract or crushed fruit. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for 3-5 days.
