- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup packed light or dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg, at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 and 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease a 12-inch pizza pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and brown and granulated sugars together until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg until well combined, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Spoon the cookie dough onto the prepared pizza pan and flatten it out evenly.
- Bake for 22-25 minutes or until it’s puffed up and lightly browned around the edges.
- Let it cool before slicing it into perfect pizza slices.
Notes
Store leftovers covered at room temperature for 2-3 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days. For longer storage, freeze individual slices.
