Description

A delightful twist on a classic favorite, this Chocolate Chip Cookie Pizza features a gooey cookie base topped with melty chocolate chips, perfect for sharing and satisfying sweet cravings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup packed light or dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 12-inch pizza pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  4. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and brown and granulated sugars together until smooth and fluffy.
  5. Beat in the egg until well combined, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  8. Spoon the cookie dough onto the prepared pizza pan and flatten it out evenly.
  9. Bake for 22-25 minutes or until it’s puffed up and lightly browned around the edges.
  10. Let it cool before slicing it into perfect pizza slices.

Notes

Store leftovers covered at room temperature for 2-3 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days. For longer storage, freeze individual slices.
