- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking pan.
- In a skillet, melt the butter and cook the diced onions until tender.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, and breadcrumbs, letting it sit.
- Combine the ground beef, onions, sauces, seasoning, parsley, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the baking pan.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
- Mix the glaze ingredients and apply it to the meatloaf.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15-30 minutes.
- Broil for 1-2 minutes for a caramelized top if desired.
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
