- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two loaf pans with butter or line them with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with 1/4 cup sugar until smooth. Add in 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1/4 cup flour, mixing until blended.
- Mash bananas until smooth. Stir in melted butter and both sugars until combined.
- Mix in 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and sour cream until fully combined.
- Gradually fold in flour, baking soda, and salt until the batter is thick yet pourable.
- Pour half of the banana batter into prepared loaf pans. Add dollops of cream cheese mixture and spread it gently. Pour remaining banana batter over the top.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool in pans for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Serve warm with butter or vanilla ice cream for an indulgent treat.
