Description

A quick and indulgent pasta dish featuring creamy sauce with zesty lemon and tangy capers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ¼ cup seasoned Panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ teaspoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
  • 6 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 34 tablespoons lemon juice (approximately 1 lemon)
  • 2 tablespoons capers (drained)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, parsley, and melted butter. Stir until the breadcrumbs absorb the butter, then set aside.
  2. In a large pot of salted water, bring it to a boil and cook the spaghetti until al dente according to package directions.
  3. Meanwhile, in a skillet, melt the additional butter over medium-low heat.
  4. Add the lemon juice, cream, and capers to the skillet, whisking together. Let the mixture simmer over low heat until it thickens.
  5. Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce, tossing to combine. Serve topped with the buttery breadcrumbs.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with a light cream or coconut milk.
