- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 packs ramen noodles
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a pot, heat a little oil over medium heat. Once warm, add the minced garlic and ginger, stirring until fragrant—about 1 minute.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the pot and cook until soft and golden brown for approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Add the chicken breasts to the pot. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on both sides.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook until the chicken is thoroughly cooked, around 10-15 minutes.
- Remove the chicken breasts from the pot, shred them, and return to the pot.
- Stir in the heavy cream and soy sauce until combined and thickened.
- In a separate pot, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and add them to the pot with the creamy sauce.
- Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using homemade chicken broth and incorporating vegetables such as spinach or bell peppers.
