Description

Delightful crispy mozzarella sticks with a gooey center, perfect for any occasion. Easy to prepare and a crowd-pleaser!


Ingredients

Scale
  • Mozzarella cheese sticks
  • Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • Seasoned breadcrumbs
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut mozzarella cheese into sticks, roughly 3 to 4 inches long.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, and salt.
  3. Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then roll in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  4. Freeze the breaded sticks on a lined baking sheet for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan or fryer to around 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the mozzarella sticks, about 1-2 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels, serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Double-dip for extra crunch and ensure sticks are well frozen before frying to prevent leaking.
