Description

A cozy holiday classic that combines creamy eggnog with fluffy brioche bread for a festive breakfast treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 1/4 cups eggnog, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1012 slices brioche bread
  • Maple syrup, for topping
  • Eggnog whipped cream, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your griddle to 350°F to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, eggnog, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and kosher salt until smooth.
  3. Dip each slice of brioche into the eggnog mixture, coating both sides without soaking too long.
  4. Place the coated slices on the preheated griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
  5. Spritz the griddle with more cooking spray as needed between batches.
  6. Serve immediately with maple syrup and eggnog whipped cream.

Notes

For a healthier option, consider using low-sugar eggnog or whole wheat bread.
