Description

Delightful, crispy feta rolls filled with creamy feta and cream cheese, inspired by Mediterranean flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 100g cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled feta, cream cheese, oregano, thyme, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Spread a generous amount of the creamy feta mixture over each tortilla.
  4. Roll up the tortillas tightly to secure the filling inside.
  5. In a shallow bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and garlic powder. Roll each feta-stuffed tortilla in the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven, slice into bite-sized pieces, and serve warm.

Notes

To lighten up these rolls, consider using low-fat cream cheese and whole grain tortillas. Leftover rolls can be frozen unbaked for up to two months.
