- 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella or provolone
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- Salty & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay the tortillas flat and evenly distribute the roast beef and cheese across each tortilla.
- Starting from the bottom, roll the tortillas upwards, tucking in the sides as you go.
- Mix melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley in a bowl, and brush over the rolled tortillas.
- Place the rolled tortillas on the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the roll-ups from the oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm with au jus on the side.
Notes
Ensure all ingredients are halal-certified. For a healthier version, use whole wheat tortillas or leaner cuts of beef.
