Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt; bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Add flour all at once, stirring until the mixture pulls away from the sides and forms a cohesive ball.
  4. Let the dough cool for 5 minutes.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing until smooth and glossy.
  6. Spoon mounds of dough onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Turn off the oven and let the puffs dry for 10 minutes.
  9. In a mixing bowl, whip cream, sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  10. Cut puffs in half, fill with whipped cream, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
