Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt; bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add flour all at once, stirring until the mixture pulls away from the sides and forms a cohesive ball.
- Let the dough cool for 5 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing until smooth and glossy.
- Spoon mounds of dough onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Turn off the oven and let the puffs dry for 10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, whip cream, sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Cut puffs in half, fill with whipped cream, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
