A quick and easy recipe that brings the flavors of hibachi-style cooking right to your kitchen, with marinated chicken and a creamy mustard sauce.

- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for cooking
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Green onions, chopped for garnish
- Sesame seeds, optional for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine chicken pieces, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and lemon juice until creamy and well combined.
- In a large skillet or grill pan, add vegetable oil over medium heat and let it heat up.
- Carefully add the marinated chicken to the hot pan and cook for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Reduce the heat and pour a portion of the Magic Mustard Sauce over the chicken. Stir well to combine and let it heat through for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
- Plate your Hibachi Style Chicken and drizzle with additional Magic Mustard Sauce if desired.
Notes
For a deeper flavor, consider marinating the chicken for a couple of hours or overnight.
