Description

A blend of sweet and spicy, these tacos feature succulent shrimp marinated in honey chipotle sauce, topped with creamy avocado and crunchy cabbage.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons chipotle sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small taco tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, chipotle sauce, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Add shrimp and toss to coat; let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook marinated shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
  3. Warm taco tortillas in a separate pan or microwave for 15-30 seconds until pliable.
  4. Assemble tacos with shrimp, shredded cabbage, avocado slices, and cilantro.
  5. Serve immediately while fresh and warm.

Notes

Marinate shrimp for longer for deeper flavor; consider grilling for a smoky twist.
