Instructions
- Mash salted duck egg yolks in a bowl until smooth, then add milk powder and cornstarch, mixing until well incorporated. Add butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and turmeric; mix until smooth.
- Slice the thick milk bread slices horizontally, leaving one edge intact for a pocket.
- Spread condensed milk on the inner edges of the bread well and fill with the custard mixture before sealing the edges.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and a dash of vanilla extract.
- Heat butter in a pan over medium heat, dip each stuffed slice in the egg mixture for about 20 seconds on each side.
- Place soaked toast in the hot pan, cooking until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side. Serve with additional butter and condensed milk.
