Description
Decadent dessert squares combining fudge and hot chocolate, topped with gooey marshmallows.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 2.55 ounces hot chocolate mix
- 4 tablespoons salted butter
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 4 cups miniature marshmallows, divided
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for drizzle)
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Line an 8 x 8 inch baking dish with parchment paper and spray with nonstick spray.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, hot chocolate mix, and butter. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, and continue microwaving in 45-second increments until smooth (about 2 1/2 to 3 minutes total).
- Stir in vanilla extract and gently fold in 2 cups of marshmallows. Microwave for 20-30 seconds, stirring to combine.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared dish. Top with the remaining marshmallows and press gently. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Melt the drizzle ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds, stir until smooth. Drizzle over the fudge after it’s set. Cut into 25 squares.
- Store refrigerated until ready to serve.
Notes
For a festive twist, add crushed peppermint candies on top before refrigerating. Substitute semi-sweet chocolate with dark chocolate for richer flavor.
