- 1 pack (12 ounces) of wonton wrappers
- 8 ounces of feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup of ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup of cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 small bunch of fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- Combine crumbled feta, ricotta, and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add honey, red pepper flakes, olive oil, garlic powder, and chopped parsley, seasoning with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Place 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Moisten the edges with water, fold into a triangle, and press to seal, removing air pockets.
- Crimp the edges with a fork to secure the filling.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry wontons for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm with a drizzle of honey and garnish with parsley.
Notes
Ensure oil is at the right temperature before frying to avoid soggy wontons. Feel free to customize the filling with other cheeses or vegetables.
