Description

These delightful little sausages are enveloped in a tantalizing sauce that marries the rich flavor of honey with the zesty kick of garlic and the warm heat of red pepper flakes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of Lil Smokies sausages
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Stir until well blended.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the Lil Smokies and cook until golden brown.
  3. Pour the honey-garlic sauce over the sausages and stir to coat.
  4. Allow the mixture to simmer for 5-10 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  5. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  6. Remove from heat and serve warm.

Notes

For a deeper flavor, let the sauce sit for about 15 minutes before using.
