Description

A delightful dish featuring chicken breasts baked with a sweet and spicy honey glaze, creamy feta cheese, and aromatic garlic.


Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken Breasts
  • 1 Cup Feta Cheese, Crumbled
  • 1/4 Cup Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Fresh Herbs for Garnish (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the honey, olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the honey-infused mixture over them.
  4. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top of the chicken.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Marinate chicken for a few hours or overnight for enhanced flavor. For a twist, substitute feta with goat cheese or add vegetables to the baking dish.
