Description

Crispy and gooey Jalapeno Popper Twists, the perfect appetizer filled with creamy cheese and zesty jalapenos.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of crescent dough
  • 5 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup jalapenos, chopped (fresh or pickled)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Roll out the crescent dough and cut it into strips.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at one end of the dough and twist it around.
  5. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra spice, consider adding more jalapenos or a dash of hot sauce to the filling.
