- 1 package of crescent dough
- 5 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup jalapenos, chopped (fresh or pickled)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Roll out the crescent dough and cut it into strips.
- Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at one end of the dough and twist it around.
- Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For extra spice, consider adding more jalapenos or a dash of hot sauce to the filling.
