- 1/3 cup unflavored whey protein isolate
- 4 large eggs, separated
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 teaspoon aluminum-free baking powder
- Optional herbs (rosemary, garlic powder, or Italian seasoning)
Instructions
- Set out all ingredients 30 minutes before starting.
- Preheat oven to 300°F.
- Separate eggs carefully.
- Add cream of tartar to egg whites and whip until stiff peaks form.
- Blend cottage cheese until smooth.
- Gradually incorporate whey protein powder, salt, and egg yolks.
- Fold one third of the whipped egg whites into the protein mixture.
- Spoon mixture onto parchment-lined baking sheets in 8 even circles.
- Smooth tops gently.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
