Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add the honey, egg, and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and dried lavender.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture to form a dough.
- If desired, fold in the chopped nuts.
- Scoop rounded balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the tops with granulated sugar and dried lavender.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow cooling on a wire rack before serving.
