- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice

- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, vegetable oil, cumin, coriander, garam masala, paprika, turmeric, cayenne pepper, garlic, ginger, and salt to create the marinade.
- Score the chicken pieces with shallow cuts for better marinade absorption.
- Coat the chicken thoroughly with the marinade and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) or grill as desired.
- Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Arrange the marinated chicken on the rack with space between pieces.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Turn halfway through for even browning.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lemon wedges.
