Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small head Cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Ground Beef or Turkey, Ground Chicken, or Plant-Based Alternatives
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the Cabbage into thick ½-inch slices and brush both sides with olive oil.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Shape the mixture into patties matching the size of the cabbage slices.
  5. Place the patties on top of the cabbage slices and bake for about 25 minutes.
  6. If using cheese, sprinkle it on top of the patties and broil for 3 to 5 minutes until melted.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve.
