- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 pound Ground Beef or Turkey, Ground Chicken, or Plant-Based Alternatives
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 large Egg (optional)
- 1 cup Cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the Cabbage into thick ½-inch slices and brush both sides with olive oil.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.
- Shape the mixture into patties matching the size of the cabbage slices.
- Place the patties on top of the cabbage slices and bake for about 25 minutes.
- If using cheese, sprinkle it on top of the patties and broil for 3 to 5 minutes until melted.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve.
