- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Additional marinara sauce for topping
- Crispy breadcrumbs for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to a greased baking dish.
- Spread additional marinara sauce over the top, then sprinkle with crispy breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to ensure perfect doneness. You can customize flavors with additional spices and make it ahead of time.
