Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
- Mix shredded coconut, powdered sugar, milk, and pink food coloring until well combined.
- Spread the coconut mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
- Cut into bars and serve.
