- 5 cups Flour
- 1 tbsp Instant yeast
- 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 2 Eggs
- 80 g Butter (melted and cooled)
- 1 1/2 cups Milk (room temperature)
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- 1 cup Granulated sugar (for coating)
- 115 g Butter (for dipping)
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
Instructions
- Combine flour, yeast, and granulated sugar in a bowl; mix well.
- Add kosher salt and mix briefly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and melted butter.
- Pour liquid mixture into flour blend; mix on low speed until a rough dough forms.
- Increase speed to medium and mix until the dough is smooth and silky (about 8 minutes).
- Cover and let dough rise for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.
- Grease a 12-cup bundt pan with softened butter.
- Punch down risen dough, then roll out to a 1/4-inch thick rectangle.
- Break off small pieces of dough, rolling each into a ball.
- Dip each ball into melted butter and then into a cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Place coated balls in the bundt pan until filled.
- Cover the pan with a towel and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- Mix melted butter with brown sugar; pour over dough balls.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Cool for 5 minutes, then invert onto a plate.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients and keep an eye on baking time. You can also add nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
