Description

A delightful dessert combining tart raspberries with a buttery, crumbly topping, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup raspberry jam

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt. Stir to mix thoroughly.
  4. Pour melted butter over the mixture and mix until crumbly.
  5. Press 2/3 of the oat mixture into the bottom of the lined pan.
  6. Spread raspberry jam evenly over the crust.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the jam.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or topped with whipped cream for an elegant touch.
