Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons ground coriander
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken to the marinade and cover the bowl. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for optimal flavor.
  3. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or prepare your grill.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on a baking sheet or grill. Bake for 25-30 minutes or grill for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through.
