A tender, moist cake infused with rich cinnamon and topped with a luscious cream cheese glaze.

- 1 box vanilla cake mix (15.25 ounces)
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- ⅓ cup butter (melted)
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup butter (softened)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- ⅓ cup granulated or sanding sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, buttermilk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar, all-purpose flour, and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon. Stir in the melted butter to create a crumbly mixture.
- Pour half of the batter into a greased Bundt pan. Sprinkle the cinnamon swirl mixture over the batter, then pour the remaining batter on top.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the glaze, beat cream cheese and softened butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Mix granulated or sanding sugar with remaining 2 teaspoons of cinnamon for the topping.
- Once the cake is cooled, drizzle the cream cheese glaze over it and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Slice and serve to enjoy!
Notes
Let the cake cool completely before glazing to prevent the frosting from melting.
