- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet (1 oz) onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream and onion soup mix; mix well.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Spread the sour cream mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
- In another bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs.
- Press the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture onto the top of each coated chicken breast.
- Drizzle the tops with olive oil.
- Place the coated chicken into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
