- 1 cup Sourdough Discard/Starter
- 3 cups Bread Flour
- 1/4 cup High-Quality Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Kosher Salt
- 1 1/2 cups Water
Instructions
- Combine the bread flour, water, sourdough starter, and kosher salt in a large bowl. Mix until no dry flour remains; cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- With wet hands, stretch and fold the dough over itself. Repeat this every 15 minutes for a total of 6 times.
- Transfer the dough to an oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise at room temperature until doubled in size, about 4 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Transfer dough to a greased baking pan, dimpling the top with your fingers and drizzling with olive oil and salt.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider topping with herbs, garlic, or cheese before baking. Store wrapped in parchment at room temperature for up to 2 days.
