- 1 large French bread loaf
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 package (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well-drained
- 1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise and scoop out some of the soft bread from the center.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
- Stir in the chopped spinach and sauté for 2-3 minutes until warmed.
- In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise; mix until smooth.
- Fold in the sautéed spinach, artichoke hearts, mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Optionally, add crushed red pepper flakes.
- Spoon the mixture into the bread halves.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving warm.
Notes
Use parchment paper under your baking sheet for easier cleanup. Ensure spinach and artichokes are thoroughly drained.
