- 1 pound fresh spinach, cleaned and chopped
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder

- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 packages of store-bought refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, over medium heat, add the chopped spinach and wilt for about 3-4 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper; stir until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the cooled spinach, mixing thoroughly.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella until well combined.
- Flatten each biscuit slightly and place a tablespoon of the spinach dip mixture in the center. Fold the sides to enclose the filling.
- Arrange the biscuit balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a Christmas tree shape.
- Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds if desired.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is softened fully for a smooth mixture. Avoid overcooking the spinach to retain its vibrant color.
