- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup custard
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until blended.
- Mix the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl, then gradually add it to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the sliced strawberries gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Top with custard before serving.
