Description

Delightful Walnut Cookie Pralines are a simple yet elegant treat that combines crunchy walnuts, sweet cookies, and optional chocolate coating, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1 cup crushed cookies (like digestive biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Chocolate for coating (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the finely chopped walnuts, crushed cookies, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Add the softened butter and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Mix thoroughly until everything comes together.
  3. Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a tray lined with parchment paper.
  4. If desired, melt chocolate and dip each ball into the chocolate. Place back on the parchment-lined tray.
  5. Allow the pralines to set until the chocolate hardens, about 30-60 minutes at room temperature.

Notes

Chilling the mixture makes rolling easier. Experiment with different types of chocolate for coating.
