- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder

- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup whole milk
- ¼ cup melted dark chocolate (for drizzle)
- ½ cup crushed Biscoff cookies (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C).
- Grease and line a 9×5″ loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream the butter and granulated sugar together until fluffy, about 3 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Alternate adding the flour mixture and milk in thirds, starting and ending with dry ingredients.
- Divide the batter and stir reserved cocoa into one half for the chocolate layer.
- Dollop vanilla and chocolate batter alternately in the prepared pan.
- Swirl the batters together gently using a skewer.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Drizzle melted dark chocolate over the cooled cake.
