Ingredients

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa powder, stirring frequently until melted.
- Bring the mixture to a rolling boil for exactly 60 seconds, then remove from heat.
- Stir in the peanut butter, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Add the oats and mix to coat evenly.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming clusters.
- Let sit at room temperature until cooled and set, about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
