- 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 1 cup pesto sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, pesto sauce, and heavy cream. Add half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper, then mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading evenly.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh basil, and serve.
Notes
Make sure the pasta is cooked al dente since it will continue to cook in the oven. Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker option.
