Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1 cup pesto sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, pesto sauce, and heavy cream. Add half of the mozzarella cheese.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, then mix until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading evenly.
  5. Top with the remaining mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

Make sure the pasta is cooked al dente since it will continue to cook in the oven. Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker option.
