Ingredients
- Active Dry Yeast
- Room Temperature Butter
- Warm Milk
- Pistachio Halva
- Quality Nutella
- Vanilla Bean
- Eggs
- Sugar (for glaze)
- Confectioners Sugar (for dusting)
- Fresh Spearmint Sprigs (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, let sit for about five minutes until frothy.
- Mix in butter and eggs at moderate speed for about 2 minutes until silky.
- Add flour gradually, knead until the dough is elastic and smooth.
- Let dough rise in a warm area covered with a damp cloth until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Warm Nutella and chop halva into smaller pieces.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread Nutella, and sprinkle halva and chocolate pieces.
- Roll the dough tightly, pinch edges to seal, and slice into sections.
- Twist sections upwards and place in a greased baking dish with space between rolls.
- Preheat oven until hot.
- Bake until golden brown, around 30 minutes.
- Optional: Brush with sugar glaze while warm and cool on a wire rack.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
