Description

Decadent buns combining the rich flavors of halva and Nutella, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • Active Dry Yeast
  • Room Temperature Butter
  • Warm Milk
  • Pistachio Halva
  • Quality Nutella
  • Vanilla Bean
  • Eggs
  • Sugar (for glaze)
  • Confectioners Sugar (for dusting)
  • Fresh Spearmint Sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, let sit for about five minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix in butter and eggs at moderate speed for about 2 minutes until silky.
  3. Add flour gradually, knead until the dough is elastic and smooth.
  4. Let dough rise in a warm area covered with a damp cloth until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  5. Warm Nutella and chop halva into smaller pieces.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread Nutella, and sprinkle halva and chocolate pieces.
  7. Roll the dough tightly, pinch edges to seal, and slice into sections.
  8. Twist sections upwards and place in a greased baking dish with space between rolls.
  9. Preheat oven until hot.
  10. Bake until golden brown, around 30 minutes.
  11. Optional: Brush with sugar glaze while warm and cool on a wire rack.
  12. Serve warm and enjoy!
