Description

Delightful oven-fried rolls filled with creamy feta and a sweet, spicy chili honey glaze, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 6 sheets phyllo dough
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp chili honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs – oregano or basil, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts, toasted (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lay one sheet of phyllo dough flat and brush lightly with olive oil. Layer a second sheet on top, brushing again.
  3. Place a small line of crumbled feta cheese near one end, sprinkle with fresh herbs and pine nuts.
  4. Starting from the filled edge, roll the dough into a compact log.
  5. Brush the tops with more olive oil, place seam-side down on a parchment-lined tray, and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Drizzle with chili honey immediately after baking.

Notes

Keep phyllo covered with a damp cloth while working to prevent drying out.
